Amazing before and after #bridesmaid picture…

My lovely bridesmaid from last month has allowed me to share her before and after photo of her make up I did for her.

Many people do not like to be seen without their make-up, but it isn’t anything to be afraid or ashamed of, I really see the beauty in all of my clients, and when I bring out that beauty with a natural make-up look, it is really great to be able to see the transformation of confidence.

This bridesmaid has suffered with burns on her cheeks from having to use steroid medication when she was younger, and as a result was left with very red cheeks and sensitive skin.

I used @airbasemakeup to give a very even and flawless coverage lasts all day. As you can see I have applied the make-up to completely reduce the redness and inflamed appearance of skin, but still creating a crimson blush look that all sexy bridesmaids need. Under the eyes have been focused on too, reducing dark circles. I have defined eyes and eyebrows to bring out her beautiful eye colour – that as you can see have an amazing sparkle of confidence in the after photograph.

#LoveTalk Trip for Two Presenter models for me

Yasmin is a fashion blogger and presenter for a Sky show… She has amazing skin, but as you can see from the before and after below, the transformation is great… I evened out her complexion with Airbase Airbrushing Foundation… which I had to mix to suit her olive-light brown skin tone. I then opened her eyes – which are a lovely shape – with darker liner and shadows close to the entire lid, and used silvers and lighter shades over the lid, with the lightest colour on the inside of the eye – this is done to bring out the sparkle in the eyes too.

I love this orange lip colour on Yasmin, and I used a complementing cheek shade to create a look of a higher cheekbone. Scroll done and you can see Yasmin presenting one of her shows… I hope to be working with her again.

#BringOUTBeauty

I have been asked a number of times to do some before and afters on myself – and so here one is… It is a subtle everyday look, bringing out my natural features, and this is what I like to do for my clients and brides – bring out the natural beauty in each person…

You can see how the foundation has evened out my skin tone and I’ve lifted my complexion with some blusher, concentrating on creating a defined cheekbone. If you have high cheekbones, you may wish to add blusher to the apples of your cheeks.

I have darkened my brow slightly, and added shimmer over my foundation to give a dewy look.

My eye make-up opens up by eyes and I’ve also created a really pretty, slightly feline shape to the shadow.

All I needed after that was a little gloss to the lips.

Before and After #Make-up Inspiration

I love working with Michelle, especially when new palettes like this #UrbanDecay one launches… Michelle has great bone structure and gorgeous shape and colour eyes… So of course we squeezed in a before and after make-up during a busy day of clients at Pinkies salon.

As you can see I have built up the colour so it is quite intense, however she still has natural lashes, just licked with some #mascara, so the look could be built upon even more by bringing up the colour higher towards the brow, and with false eyelashes and shimmer make-up added.

This look is perfect for a date, as it shows you’ve made an effort, but not gone over the top… the lighter colour used on the insides of the lid towards the bridge of the nose, opens up the eyes, and really makes Michelle’s green eye colour sparkle. The black liner brings out the pupils and outside of the eye colour, making her gaze really pretty.

It is important to darken and define your eyebrows with a full-on eye look, as it would look unfinished otherwise.

And with eyes quite strong, a nude lippy looks gorgeous.

Before and After #Bridal #Beauty

Before and After BrideI see the beauty in all of my clients, but taking a naturally pretty bride and bringing out her inner beauty with the art of make-up is such a joy for me.

This bride has lovely features and I have applied #Airbase airbrushing foundation to reduce the redness on her nose and to even out skin tone.

The lashes open up her eyes, allowing the stunning green to sparkle.

Rosy cheeks and soft pink lips are subtle and pretty to balance out the dramatic eyes.
